A local bar got burgalarized. They perps smashed the place up too. I was thinking for the lead. For the first sentence I REALLY wanna use this, but I'll get in trouble.

"Patrons weren't the only thing getting smashed at the rumrunner on Monday night."

But if you're gonna get into trouble, then I say don't...unless you're just going to get a slap on the wrist, and you're leaving soon anyway, go for it. Locals should get a laugh out of it.

The bartender is a friend and I don't want him to think I think it's funny...he only opened a month ago and is pretty upset about it...becuase the damage is at that magic number were there is no point in paying the deductable becuase it is the same cost.
