2. And yet the sun just came out...

...after metric assloads of rain last night here in southern Virginia. Power went out for less than a minute exactly once.

But it caused some plaster to drop from my parents' ceiling, and some water leaked in.

3. Not bad here in Northern Virginia,

across the Potomac from DC. Some flood warnings to stay up until later today, and some heavy rain last night and this morning, but, now, at 3 pm, it's pretty much over.
