A dog bit me on the leg today.

I was at a new client's home to fix a minor computer problem. However, her computer was in her bedroom, and she has a dog who was trained to protect her. The dog doesn't like ANYONE going into the bedroom with her- she said even her husband isn't welcome!

The puppy didn't like it, but I had to be there. She did her job well- she stayed exactly between me and her mistress at all times. Came the moment I needed to sit in the chair, and that was too much for puppy. She took a mouthful of my ankle.

Fortunately her teeth didn't penetrate my skin (through my pants and socks), and her mistress then took her outside so I could finish up. No harm done, and I finished the repair in five minutes.

I don't hold a grudge- the puppy was doing her job, and I have no issue with that. If I'm needed I'll go back there in a hot second, and if the puppy's there that's fine with me!

I hope she got an extra doggy biscuit for what she did, too. Good girl!
