and I broke out the VEGETABLES! Onions, carrots, Japanese eggplant and green beans stir-fried in the wok with sesame oil, fish sauce, soy sauce, white wine, ginger and basil...and to top it all off....KALE!

No rice, no meat, just a big steaming heap of vegetables. Ah, it's nice to have the husband and kid away.

My husband and kids hate it when I have no meat meals. But I'm the cook and I cook what I like. This isn't Burger King. You don't get your way.

2. My Mom never got away with meatless meals.

She tried it twice I can rememebr adn I went and cooked for mylsef. I've been cooking since I was 12. Great skill to have.

Damn, I guess I already pretty much do. I grew up in the "country" and we had several gardens. I grew up eating just about every vegetable that exists. As a result I am not picky when it comes to veggies. Even when I ate meat, I enjoyed eating veggies more.
