Dammit, dammit, dammit!

My kitty, my precious kitty, Zero, is being put to sleep tomorrow. Today she went to the vet, and they discovered she had kidney stones. The vet said they were going to try to flush them out before they would try surgery. Then Zero had a grand mal seizure, and the vet said that it was an underlying condition, and that there is nothing they can do, its fatal.

Some may remember I was just talking about her yesterday, I gave her a bath, she was so good in the bath. She's always been a special kitty, when she was a kitten, she was caught in a reclining chair, but, after such a horrible injury, she pulled though. Dammit, I always thought of her as a survivor, sure she couldn't move like other cats could, but she tried, and she still enjoyed life, playing with the other kitties, even if she couldn't do all the things they could.

Zero, you are and will always be a special kitty to me, I'll miss you!

I just got back my Gray's ashes and hearing about your Zero makes it kind of raw again. I am so sorry you have to do this. I hope you are there with her when she's sedated. Please hold her and let her know she is loved and will be missed. :hug:

p.s. those recliners they are terrible years ago we had them i always worried about them because of our cats but also our kids playing and rolling around on the floor one of my sons almost lost an ear ever since i've never owned one of those things...

- somebody needs to design a better recliner (there must be better ones out there)...
