Okay, so I feel like an idiot.

During all the VP speculation but before Obama named Biden, people had mentioned that Joe Biden was a serious contender for the post because he had gone to Georgia on behalf of Obama.

I thought to myself--"What's the big deal? So Biden went to Atlanta for a couple of rallies for the presumptive Democratic nominee? I don't get the significance."

Tbilisi Georgia, PeterU, not Atlanta Georgia. Tbilisi Georgia. Duh.

2. I was thinking the same thing about Cindy McCain!
I was wondering why everybody thought it was so outrageous. I was picturing her in Atlanta. I guess befuddled minds think alike!

3. Heh, I'm sure you're not the only one to make a mistake like that.
Hell, we've got two Washingtons in this country alone... not to mention that we have an Odessa in Texas, a Melbourne in FL, hell, right here where I am in upstate NY we've got a Chili, Lima, Greece and Egypt. :P
