7. Maybe that would help the Aggies through the upcoming football season.
At least Aggie jokes would make a comeback. Not that they've ever gone away here in Austin.

9. That wasn't a real joke. The joke would have been if I'd said
"The Aggies are going to have a great football season AND get the VP nomination!"

11. Three Aggies come upon some tracks in the woods.
First Aggie examines them, says "Those are bear tracks." Second Aggie bends over, sniffs them, says "Those are Cougar tracks." Before the third Aggie could say anything, a train rain them over.

14. You can always hope.
The Longhorns suck.

I used to follow Longhorn football but I don't any more.

My housemate still follows Aggie football.

When I lived in Austin I went to the games.

18. Nothing, they're pretty good.
They have a coach who is a master at recruiting, but not as good on the field, so they wind up with talented players and a weak game plan. So they beat all the weak teams they play, and they split with the top teams. When they get someone like Vince Young, who can improvise on the field, they beat everyone. Right now they have few seniors, so people are expecting an average year.

They have the greatest quarterback name in the history of the universe, though. Colt McCoy, from Buffalo Gap, Texas. You can't write stuff like that! (He's actually from Tuscola, but they're close).
