2. It's Gwen Stefani.
Who the last time I had any respect for was probably No Doubt's debut album. So res ipsa loquitor.

And the beverage was Zima.

10. Well where does Zuma come from?
Edited on Fri Aug-22-08 08:59 AM by MsTryska
I'm guessing Nesta is in honor of Bob Marley - origins would explain a lot.

maybe Zuma Beach? That prolly makes a lot of sense. The whole name doesn't have a lot of flow to it, but I won't hate on Zuma. I know lots of people named after places.

14. Oh I can't hate on a baby, it's not his fault he has a silly name
and Nesta is, indeed, a tribute to Bob Marley (it's his middle name for those who are unaware).

He was conceived on a rock, near a nest of birds on Zuma beach in Malibu.

Worst. Name. Ever.

Well, ok, maybe not...but it's pretty awful.

22. I read somewhere their kids' names were inspired by Jamaica and Bob Marley.
looks like Zuma is a beach they like, and the middle name is Bob Marley's middle name.

three cheers for purveying useless information!

Hey, snark all you like. I don't really get bent out of shape about names unless they are some unholy spelling of "Brittany/Britney/Britny/Britteney" etc.
