Have you been to Nationals Park?

We went last night for the first time, and let me just say that I needn't have taken off my sunglasses all night. That place is BRIGHT. It IS possible to play night games without all that wattage; if they know that, they don't care.

The food is expensive, and a 20 oz bottle of Coke cost $4.50, a 16 oz Miller, $7.50. But the stadium is really nice. The concourses are W-I-D-E, which, as anyone who goes to stadiums will agree, is very nice.

It was a treat to be there.

Anyway. Been there? Your impressions?

1. I think turtlensue has been there a few times. I go to see the O's once or twice

a year. It's only about 15 minutes away for me.

2. No I haven't been to the new ballpark yet

Too much going on healthwise for me to do that right now...Its RFK I've been to to see the Nats.
Like to go though.

3. I'd rather go to an O's game. I'm an AL fan.

And it would've been a damn sight easier to get to. The drive to Ballmer would've been easier than finding god damned Lot 8 at RFK . . . :grr:

5. I was there last week and saw the Nats - Mets game.

It is quite an impressive stadium, I'll give them that. But on my trip I also went to Camden Yards and Citizens Bank Park, and CBP is easily the most impressive of the three I went to.
