Any DU'rs like College Basketball?
If so, shout the name of your school and who's ass they're going to kick, making reference to one of the players.

Example:

Go 'Noles! Blue Devils are going DOWN in Tallahassee! Tim Picket is God.

30. I gotta give it to you...
Stanford showed up to play this season, unlike Salim and my on-again, off-again Wildcats. (sigh) Three more home games, then the Pac-10 tourney.

And then, MARCH MADNESS!!!

20. Pfft.
I'll grant you that yer tarholes ARE better this year than anyone could have expected given that they're recovering from the disaster that was Doherty, but they're not good enough to beat this Duke team.

24. Oh please SBP !
Carolina showed everyone in Chapel Hill that they are every bit as good a team as Duke. They led the entire game and only lost in the last 7-8 seconds due to an inexcusable mental breakdown when they let Chris Duhon drive the length of the floor and score.

Carolina has problems this year I will grant you that, as evidenced by the debacle in Charlottesville last night. (but in my opinion, they were robbed at the end of the game. The play prior to the game winning three point shot resulted in a missed shot for Virginia, and the rebound was clearly out of bounds off of a Virginia player, and the refs gave the ball back to the Wahoos. This is the only thing that enabled them to make the game winning shot ! :grr:)

13. Ruh-Roh! I believe that the team from
Raleigh is the biggest surprise in the ACC this year. Marcus Melvin for Player of the Year!

Go Wolfpack!(Which, I might add, is also the alma mater of Mr. Edwards)

15. I'll give you the 'suprise factor'...
But raise you one: UNC beat NC State.

Go Tar Heels! (Which, I might add, is also the alma mater of both John and Elizabeth Edwards!) :-)

21. 'SC can sweep the pitiful Bruins Wednesday night
We got them in Pauley a month ago, albeit almost blowing a 20 point halftime lead.

USC sucks on defense, allowing 80+ points per game. With uptempo and unconcerned Henry Bibby in charge, that's not likely to change, and we are doomed. UCLA's new coach from Pittsburgh will likely recruit defensive monsters and dominate the offensive-minded PAC 10 within a couple of years, like Stanford is doing now and Pete Carroll has managed in football.

At least USC will finally have an on-campus arena in two years or so, after languishing in the Sports Arena for decades. Ground breaking is set for this spring.

My other allegiance is Miami. Happy trails, pathetic Perry Clark. I have no idea why we hired you in the first place.

23. NC/ACC
Sorry, I like the NC ACC teams. Since we don't have a home team (although, we're hosting the tournament this year), I pull for Carolina, Duke, State and Wake, and if they're playing each other, I pull for the underdog -- what do you expect from a Deaniac?
