Recall shocker: Arnold taps Kobe as Lt. Gov.

HOLLYWOOD -- Republican gubernatorial candidate Arnold Schwarzenegger ("Terminator", "True Lies", "Total Recall") dropped yet another bombshell today with his announcement that, should he become Governor, his Lieutenant Governor would be embattled Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant.

Said Schwarzenegger, "With Kobe on the ticket with me, there's no chance that any other candidate -- hell, any other story at all, even nuclear war -- will get even thirty seconds of air time between now and Election Day."

When asked if the recent allegations against Bryant might serve to distract the public from his own, allegedly risque, sexual history, Schwarzenegger replied, "Hasta la vista, baby!" and abruptly ended the press conference.
