What's the current ringtone on your cell phone?
Mine is "Claire de Lune" by Debussy. I decided to go classical.

5. I recently replaced my old phone with a used/refubished one
but it was still quite a bit newer than my old one. Couldn't help but notice the free, preprogrammed rings REALLY sucked. hmmm so that you would be more inclined to buy something, obviously. Well I'm too cheap for that so I stuck with the one that sounded as close to an old dial phone ring as they had. My old phone had like 6 or 8 little games preprogrammed too. I sure noticed when we got the kids their phones that doesn't happen anymore! scammers.

so to answer, a cheap electronic version of an old dial phone's ring

9. My generic one is "Crazy Train"
However, I have specific ones for certain people who call. My son causes it to play "Sweet Home Alabama" (he's a student at U of A). My daughter is Coldplay's "The Scientist" (she loves that song). Mrs. Av8rdave rings with an old Alan Parsons song. Can't remember the title.

When my ex calls, it plays "American Idiot." Thankfully, that's rare anymore.

12. "Electric Funeral" by Black Sabbath.
I tried a couple other more famous Sabbath songs, but they didn't perform the primary function of letting me know that the phone was ringing. Electric Funeral has loud, insistent notes from the very beginning.

Plus, I can spot the metal heads when my phone rings at the grocery store...which is always cool.

I don't get good service in my home but I do keep it on 24/7 so people can text me. If it "rings" when I am home I usually don't answer but then call them back from the house phone.

20. I use different ones for different people. My hubby is Death Cab for Cutie's Soul Meets Body
For my mom - Elvis - That's Alright Momma
For my dad - The Mamas and the Papas - Dancing in the Streets
For my brother - Don't Fear the Reaper - NEEDS MORE COWBELL!!!!!!!
For my sister in law (who loves country music but doesn't like Dolly Parton - which to me is just wrong!) - Dolly Parton's Backwoods Barbie
For a good friend who's campaign I was working on and his name is Jimmy and he's African American - Jimi Hendrix Purple Haze

General for everyone else: Led Zep Whole Lotta Love
I've got waiting in the wings ABBA's Fernando, Led Zep's Kashmir

It's great because I know exactly who is calling without having to look to see who it is.

85. H-O-V-A by Jay-Z. The live version from his Unplugged album.
That's the general ringtone. For my husband when he calls, I have "Night and Day" by Sinatra. For my mom, I have "Take Your Mama Out Tonight" by Scissor Sisters, and for my best friend I have "Do Your Thing" by Basement Jaxx.

87. "Edge of Time" by S.U.N. Project
Or it was until Verizon decided to perform a random authentication of my ringtones, and it stopped working. Bastards.

So, at the moment, it's a pre-set "old phone" ringtone.
