What kind of voice are you supposed to read LOLCats in?

Is it supposed to be a cutesy voice like you talk to babies in? Because for some reason I read it in an intimidating Russian voice. It really makes a big difference.

Not quite as intimidating as mine though. "I can haz cheezeburger?" takes on a completely different tone if you think your knee caps depend on it.
