JackMN heart attack-inducing episode #847.
We were over at my IL's house the other weekend for my SIL's birthday. All the kids were playing outside and we were TRYING to watch them.
JackMN snuck away, and I realized he was gone, so I started running around the yard looking for him. I glanced out to the street and there, in front of the neighbor's house, sitting on the seat of a gigantic motorcycle was Jack. I don't even know how he got on top of the thing, because it was about three times as large as him. He was pretending or trying to rev the handles. I dragged him off, and upon encountering the owners of the bike shortly thereafter, relayed what Jack had done. They warned me to make sure he hadn't burned his legs on the bike, as they had just returned from a ride on it. Apparently, JackMN must have saw them pull up, waited for them to go in their house, and then hopped on.

I SO wish I'd gotten pictures!

2. I have to learn how to use our videocamera.
He has been hot-rodding something hilarious on his brother's scooter. The handles are about as tall as him, and he scoots around with it, shouting "wheee!"

3. He's so damned cute. When does school start?
Bet you can't wait. I sure can't. Even though I'm not looking forward to getting up at 6AM. Ugh.

Plus, BabyMidlo is now on a different schedule, so she will leave at 8 instead of 7 which will elminate any chance of me going back to be at 7 for a bit.

4. The big kids go back on Sept. 2, Jack goes back on Sept.4.
I'm kind of sad to send them back; I'm more anxious for ME to go back to school. I'm going to freak out about sending Jack to kindergarten. I'm already starting to panic about it. I will probably cry incessantly.

What grade is BabyMidlo going into?

5. 7th.
I have to go register her at the new middle school this afternoon. :eyes:

I can't believe he's going to Kindergarten!!!! :wow:

He'll do great. In my experience volunteering in the schools, the rest of the class is very warm and loving to the SpED kids.

Boy, time flies. We leave next Tuesday to move TM into her dorm. My living room is currently stocked with sheets, towels, etc, in gorgeous shades of lime green and hot pink.

7. LK went through a phase where he kept sneaking into my Dad's garage to sit on his bike
and pretend to ride. Which wouldn't have been a big problem in the garage, except that he kept switching the headlight on, leaving it that way and draining the battery.
