Pez has the cutest new PEZ dispensers
http://www.pez.com/category_s/901.htm

I just had to buy them when I saw them in stores. I love how PEZ is having a "get out the vote" campaign. And the plush donkey and elephant are soo cute. It was damned near to track down the donkey though.

Who'd have though, republican elephants would be all over the place and everyone would want the democrat donkey.
:sarcasm:

I have a feeling someone here is going to attack me for getting the elephant too, but what can I say, it will be great next to my Bush doll that utters all his stupid phrases. Not to mention, I collect political stuff (both parties).

2. I gotta look for one of those!
I have a bit of an ass collection going. Went to the local chocolatier last weekend and they had little donkeys and elephants made out of flavored ganache and then covered in fondant and they were decorated so adorably. The only reason I didn't get a donkey was because my friend who was with me was aghast at the thought of me spending $6 on a piece of chocolate that I was only going to take pictures of and then eat. I guess he had a point but boy were those donkeys cute.

3. only $6?
thats not that bad. You could have covered it in shelac and put it out for displayed :)

Thats pretty awesome that the confectioners are getting involved!

For anyone interested, the dispensers are $4 in stores, and apparently only $3 on the PEZ website.

4. any chain stores that you know of that sell them?
I can't really even think of who sells them.

As for the Shelac idea, that would be great but I'd need to get 2, one to eat and one to shelac ;-)

6. I saw them at Walgreen's
They had lots of the elephants, but only one donkey was left. 'Course this is a pretty blue city, even if the surrounding area is red.

7. woohoo!!
yeah, the donkeys seem to be gone everywhere I go. Tons of elephants left though.

I'm surprised that more people don't get the elephants, to complete the set if for no other reason.
