10. I cannot.
But I can whip up virtually any meal without a recipe, and you'd like it! :spank: :P

If I COULD code in binary, I might have a job. So there!

Wait. I believe you win this round.

i just think of a recipe that i liked in the past, and then just try to recreate it. (sometimes it comes out not so good)

I cook a lot. I made chicken stroganoff today.

17. With mushrooms?
How I miss mushrooms. None of my foolish children will eat them. I cook international because I was a vegetarian for years (the husband had three heart attacks and hideously high cholesterol) so I'm fond of curries. And heat. The hotter, the better. There, I could surely trump you. Also, I'm remarkably attractive for an old woman. :P Kidding! Messing wit you. Given our recent history, it's irresistable, if childish.

25. No canned mushrooms... anathema!
I make curries from scratch. Try Penzeys Spices for all the necessary components. They have everything except galangal (Thai ginger) which can be bought at many international markets).

I'll stop bothering you now. Thanks for writing.

2. Nerd-off? I'm seriously considering plunking down $1000 for a 200 lb server to sit in my bedroom.
I think I have people beat there. The sucker will use more electricity than an air conditioner and generate more heat than a furnace. While it could help me save on my gas bill this winter... hehe.

36. Even better -- I'll use it to host both a Tradewars 2002 server and a MUD.
... that is, if I can afford to keep it powered on enough.

If it truly isn't feasible to keep it powered on and cooled off in my house, I'll just use it to study for my HPUX CSA exam and then sell it and turn a tidy profit.

11. Good one. Go in a completely different direction from fight games.
Have you played Motorstorm? Oh my f-ing god. My friend has a friggin' nine foot wide projection screen we were playing that one last weekend, that and Tekken. I wanted to move into his entertainment metroplex after we were done. The drive home at 3:00am I felt like I was still on one of the courses.

31. Zaxxon was sweet, I loved Wizards of War
cause you could do two player mode, and zap one another...there was also...hmm, I think Pit Stop, and ...hmm, like Dungeons Wars, or something? You would walk around killing zombies, vamps, picking up new weapons and what not...the games graphics were stick figure like, but it was fun.

And do I want to teach? No. In fact, if I could research my topic for the rest of my life for pennies, I'd do that in a heartbeat.

Why? Because I'm a big 'ol...

40. But we both live in our hermit house, soon to be decorated with countless books.
Our previous house had a hand ink-drawn map of Tolkien's Middle Earth (courtesy of Mr. Writer, the Computer Scientist), across from which hung Anduril, the Sword of Aragorn Elessar, King of Gondor and Arnor.

And we played D&D every week.

44. Let's see... when I was little I didn't have a Nintendo so I started drawing out my own video game
ideas. In third grade I learned to program in BASIC (and this was before QBASIC existed) and now I design my own silly little 2d games.

Also, I started designing RPGs when I was in elementary school. I now have an entire RPG universe that covers fantasy, sci-fi, cyberpunk, superhero, ect.

When the internet was new I taught myself HTML too, just because. I never bothered to learn anything too fancy, although I wouldn't mind learning ASP or PHP or something of the sort.

I drew a silly little stick figure online comic for a while, mostly to tie in with my 2d games. One of my main games was based on the spoof character I'd created named Alabama Bones. I'm sure you can guess who he's a spoof of.

Oh, and I make chainmail and dabble in leatherwork, and I used to make and sell prop lightsabers online.
