This is some sick shit.

http://www.pandora.com/

I will never have to waste time with repetitive crappy radio stations ever again. Amazing. Just amazing.
I thought I was a good amateur musicologist but I'm learning so much about my own tastes in music and finding all kinds of new bands I like.

2. I have had this
playing on my computer for the past 3 years. I get e-newsletters from Mercola.com and he had a link there. It is pretty cool. Right now I have music playing that goes with "Egnima." Getting some pretty cool things playing right now.

10. Does slacker have african music?
That's my only complaint with Pandora. No Fela Kuti. No Olatunji.

15. Yep!
The pre-selected channels only have a "World" option - but if you go to the "create station" part of the site you can add all of the African artists you want to your station.

12. Okay.
Pandora keeps getting stuck and then I can't log out and it slows my computer.

Thanks.

6. I was happy to find Pandora, too.
It's hard being 50+ and trying to find music for your soul. I was referred to it by a DUer.

I signed up a long time ago but I always forget to go there. I just opened it up and it went straight to Gillian Welch Radio for me :headbang: :headbang:

9. I LOVES MY PANDORA.
Simply amazing product. I think their genre station interface is a little awkward, but overall it's fantastic.

11. I have 3 Pandora stations in my sig

Currently listening to The Eclectic Greyness, but my Hot Club of San Francisco station is pretty sweet too. You never know what you'll get on the first one, and the Hot Club station never fails to make me happy. :hi:

Edit: Nope, nevermind.

Dear Pandora Visitor,

We are deeply, deeply sorry to say that due to licensing constraints, we can no longer allow access to Pandora for listeners located outside of the U.S. We will continue to work diligently to realize the vision of a truly global Pandora, but for the time being we are required to restrict its use. We are very sad to have to do this, but there is no other alternative.

We believe that you are in Canada (your IP address appears to be 142.162.95.17). If you believe we have made a mistake, we apologize and ask that you please contact us at

If you are a paid subscriber, please contact us at and we will issue a pro-rated refund to the credit card you used to sign up. If you have been using Pandora, we will keep a record of your existing stations and bookmarked artists and songs, so that when we are able to launch in your country, they will be waiting for you.

We will be notifying listeners as licensing agreements are established in individual countries. If you would like to be notified by email when Pandora is available in your country, please enter your email address below. The pace of global licensing is hard to predict, but we have the ultimate goal of being able to offer our service everywhere.

We share your disappointment and greatly appreciate your understanding.

Shit.
