Last year I posted that horrible story about the woman who hoarded all kinds of animals near rural Amboy, Illinois. Tails Humane Society in DeKalb, IL took in all the dogs and cats. They sent the birds to a bird rescue society.

The case was so horrific that it made the national news. Now they have another hoarding situation.

A friend of mine tried to drop off three cats that he found dumped on Rt. 38. They could not take them, because they had to take fifty or more cats from the new hoarding situation. He has a friend fostering the three cats he found. (His landlord does not allow pets).

If you are near DeKalb, and you need a cat, please look at this shelter. If not, and you can spare a donation, they are a wonderful shelter:
