the new Firefox SUCKS
I've re-installed shock wave but it still makes things disappear since I downloaded it.

My yahoo email will not work with Firefox anymore. I tried downloading the old firefox and neither of them work with yahoo anymore.

I'm going back to Safari.

1. Works fine for me
I assume you're on a Mac, as there's no Firefox for iPhone. I've never had any problems with FF, especially after version 1.5. What's your doing or not doing? Is it the stock installation of FF? that is, no FF extensions that might be mucking with Yahoo mail?

I just checked my little-used Yahoo mail account via FF, and it works fine.

You may want to check

for a really cool ALL MAC browser, that is fast and light.

I love it.

FF is good for PCs, I have never liked it on a mac. I think it has to do with the fact that FF was originally a PC browser made to work on a mac.

edit 2: I use FF3 on the WInblows partition of my Mac and it seems to work fine. I refuse to clutter my mac partition with it, plus I think the new FF 3 for mac is plain ugly.

5. I spent an hour on the phone with yahoo/att yesterday
and as far as I know, they aren't the problem. however, it sucks to have to use a diff. browser to read/reply to email. I can forward everything to yet another email acct, but at this moment it's sort of imp. that I have reliable access to email for work issues.

I posted on the help forum for firefox and they say to do the same things that yahoo said. I had already done those things and they didn't make a diff.

This started a week ago. I had never had this problem before. I've used Firefox for a few years and occasionally get aggravated with it b/c of its slowness concerning certain things.

but now, as I said, the browser drops out the image from shockwave, too. that's not a yahoo problem. that's a browser problem. it doesn't happen with safari.

I like firefox for the most part.
I honestly cannot figure out why it won't work.

but it's also not worth it to me to spend hours on this only to have it remain the same.

8. dont hate me, but.,..
it is REALLY simple...

When you bookpark a page in FF3, it drops down a box which has

name

Folder

tags

Click on the folder field and it will drop down a menu from which you can choose.
