1. Anyone who has ever had a wife or girlfriend

has had to learn that the response to the question "Do these pants make my ass look fat?" Is "no sweetums" regardless of how fat the ass might look.

Also we tell kids about Santa, the easter bunny, the tooth fairy. There are plenty of lies to tell.
