I saw James Taylor at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, last night.
If you get a chance to see him on this tour, I highly recommend it!!

What a great show!! James sounds great, his band is amazing, and James Taylor is absolutely hilarious on stage. I never knew he was so funny, but he had the crowd in stitches the whole night.

Two thumbs way up!!

2. I love the Greek Theater.
Getting in and out of there sucks, but man, what a great place to spend a summer evening listening to music.

What's JT's show like these days? I'm not really up on his new stuff. ("New" meaning anything after the '70s, I'm afraid.)

6. He did a lot of his "old" stuff -- the songs we all love...
He also did a lot of cover versions of songs -- he's got a new album coming out which is JT singing other people's songs.

Here is a set list from a previous show -- and he did many of these. We also got "Fire and Rain."

SET LIST: "It's Growing," "Get a Job," "Whiskey Before Breakfast," "(I've Got to) Stop Thinkin' 'bout That," "Wichita Lineman," "Why Baby Why," "Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin'," "Everyday," "You've Got a Friend," "Mexico," "Shed a Little Light," "Blossom," "Hound Dog," "Walking Man," "(I'm a) Road Runner," "Sweet Baby James," "Some Days You Gotta Dance," "Steamroller," "Carolina in My Mind," "Your Smiling Face," "Shower the People," (encore) "In the Midnight Hour," "Knock on Wood," "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved by You)"

3. ooohh
I wanted to go 7/4 at Tanglewood in the Berkshires, but it sold out before my slacker husband could get the tickets. I know it is because he didn't really want to go x(

4. I love the Greek Theater, too.
I've seen several concerts there.

The best was the Talking Heads, in 1983 or so. Best single concert I've seen. Jonathan Demme was in the audience, too, and decided to make the movie "Stop Making Sense" because of it.
