3. I've been following this one since yesterday
No Bandoleer of Carrots yet. :( I did score a 8G iTouch and a 2G micro SD card for my wife though. She's happy! :)

I was up until 2am hoping for the BoC - was surprised that the Woot-Off was still going on this morning.

Do you know about http://mywoot.net/ ? It crows at you when the items change. :hi:

Cause I was way too friggin' busy to keep hitting refresh. The time estimator to the next item is pretty accurate too.

The microSD card was $5.99 (plus the shipping). They didn't last long.

You can get good deals, but it's also very easy to talk yourself into buying stuff you really don't need, because of the bargain prices.

I've bought a lot of wine from wine.woot. Some really excellent USA west coast wines, at very good prices, and the winemakers often show up in the forum to talk about the wines offered. I've learned a lot about wines there.

39. I do that too.
But woot.com is a fun deal site that normally runs one deal a day, often technology-related. Then every once in awhile they run a "woot-off" where they keep putting up new deals all day as they run out of the previous deal. And then, somewhere in the middle of the woot-off, they offer what they call a "random crap". Here's what wiki has to say about that: In lieu of typical product sales, Woot occasionally offers a $1.00 fukubukuro-like blind grab bag officially called "Random Crap". Its accompanying picture has lent it the name "Bag O' Crap" (BOC). The BOC includes dollar store items and may also include significantly more expensive items such as large flat-screen televisions.<6> The BOC typically triggers the flooding of Woot's servers with thousands and thousands of order requests. The available BOCs typically sell out within seconds. Processing a customer's order for a BOC, assuming he or she is first lucky enough to get one before everyone else, may sometimes take over an hour.

So there you go.

They also have a sister site called shirt.woot.com. I have bought a few shirts there, including this one, which still cracks me up:
