And Taki has had that skin-tight nipplicious outfit since Soul Blade on the PS1.




Although I'm fairly certain she's gone up a cup size or two since the first game... hard to tell with how badly polygoned it was back then though. :P


And don't even get me started on the character of Sophitia...


If you beat Soul Blade (the original game before they started calling them Soul Calibur) with her, what does she do after fighting across the lands, defeating men five times her size and destroying the evil Soul Blade?

Why, go back home, get married, stay home and raise the kids of course!

Seriously, I'm not kidding. She goes home to be a good little wife. After saving the world. Yep.



Then in the last game they introduced Tira.


I thought she was kinda cute in an evil psychotic way... but then again, I tend to like the evil psychotic ones. :P

So they were probably going for petite and girlish rather than curvy and womanish.

Then again, it's entirely possible that these women were designed by men who had never seen an actual woman before. :P

8. Although in Taki's case, what with her being a ninja, it could be something similar

to the Lara Croft idea... in order to do those cool flips and rolls, she needs counterbalance. Hence the boobies.

9. I'd never heard of this game, so I looked it up on Wikipedia...

and it had this to say about Taki:

Taki's appearnace in every game is a red or blue fitted outfit. Note that in this outfit, her nipples are fitted in every game.

WTF are "fitted nipples"? And why "every game"? Do her nipples require frequent re-fitting?

And actually she has two costumes, with two color schemes each. Same with Ivy. One is a little more practical and armored, one is the skin-tight one. The skin-tight one just comes in either blue or red.

13. One of the best (or perhaps worst) examples of that was in DOA Beach Volleyball 2.

Not only were they all ridiculously well endowed... but they tried to actually add in boob jiggling physics to the game engine. And failed horribly.

Wow, forgot about that... about 1/4 of the way through the trailer they actually show one of the characters pole-dancing. Because by this point they'd given up pretending that it was about anything other than delivering scantily clad, well endowed CG girls to teenagers who had no chance of actually seeing such things in the real world.
