On Discovery:

I love Shark Week!

This year, Shark Week is visited by Mythbusters, Mike Rowe (Dirtiest Jobs, Deadliest Catch, etc) and Les Stroud (Survivorman).

7. But I get to watch it with a plate of country fried seitan, garlic mashed potatoes, gravy and corn.
Homecooked vegan dinner and 65" of HD goodness? You have to admit, that's hella cool.

BTW, OC asked how stuff was going with us. Not sure what's up with that- I think he's trying to be protective of me?

6. Yeah, I posted this over in the science forum
but it got no responses. Shark Week is great! Six new episodes this year plus reruns from the last few years.

10. Ah hell, I didn't think it started until tonight
Peter Benchley says that had he known more about sharks then, he would have never written Jaws.

11. "Live EVERY week like it's Shark Week!"
...One of two lines that made watching 30 Rock worthwhile.

The other: "Dress every day like it's the suit you're gonna get shot in." :D

15. "A shark giving birth..."
"... is under the influence of a natural appetite suppressant." How convenient for the babies. Damn, the great Flying Spaghetti Monster thought of everything.

Shark Week reinforces my belief is His noodly greatness.
