Teeny Bopper Thursdays!!!!

were you ever a teeny bopper? fess up, eh! i admit I was....as a teenager.... :cry: What's your favorite memory as a teeny bopper?

Mine:

I used to spend a lot of nights at First Ave (unfortunately it was a bit hard to get into 7th street entry as a young'un, as most shows were 21+), and many of those nights i spent in the large bathroom stall in the women's room (there's this huge window as one of the stall sides) with a friend of mine who was going through a lot of troubles at the time.

anyways, we went to see flogging molly play, and we saw the band exit on the street outside of the br window. it was cold, so there was a lot of condensation on the windows, so, to make my friend feel better, i wrote: "FLOGGING MOLLY, FLOG ME!!!" and we got a huge wave from the lead man. Nice. my friend felt loads better.

I met and had a great conversation with their bass player once, and had no idea who he was until some friends of mine told me.

He was nice, and even called me the next day!

But... Flogging Molly did not exist when I was a teenager.
