Jeebus! Skert me half to death!

We were without Internet service for a couple days, and just got it fixed tonight. Long story, but screw Norton. :grr:

As soon as we got Internet and email connections back, my ceiling light in the living room went out. At the time, I thought it was the whole house, since mom was napping and all her lights and TV were turned off.

Then I smelled something burning. Crap! I turned off all the light switches, cuz I thought there was an electrical fire somewhere.

Then I realized the smell was coming from the light bulb in my ceiling fan. The bulb burned out burned the glass globe covering the light bulb. Askert me half to death! I changed the light bulb, and everything is fine now. Whew!

Now, where did I put those BP pills ....

3. Oh boy!

I just wondered that if we had Internet connection problems all of a sudden for a few days, and then the lights took a crap as soon as that got fixed, that there was a more serious problem here causing this stuff.

When that light went off and I smelled smoke and burning, I scrambled! I thought the house was going to burn down! I was rounding up the pets and about to wake up mom when I discovered it was just the light bulb that burned the globe.

I really need to get a grip. :blush:

5. LOL! I have never smelled burning crap! But,

my grandfather was an ornery old fart, and told me stories about pooping into a bag and then setting it on fire on someone's porch.

I sure do miss that old cuss.
