Karma looks great in a miniskirt
I bought the Wii Fit last Sunday; arrived Thursday.

Having checked every local store since then, nobody locally had a Wii Fit.

Today, when going into the store closest to home, they had ONE Wii Fit unit. (it looked like it was returned, so I'm not going to cry too much; Wii Fit really is worth $150 anyway...)

They also had Excite Truck for $50, when it can be had online for $30 or less.

2. Advanced Hula Hoop, followed by Yoga...
Yoga rocks... though I won't do 'Tree' any time soon; I can't hold my balance. :(

And it's nice with the hula hoop game to have that counter and strive for higher scores.

In time, more of the other games/tasks will open up. Being out of shape, the hula hoop one winds me quickly -- but the step-by-step yoga instructions are a hoot.

Oh, any of the balance games are lifesavers too. (My balance mechanism has always been crap, but it doesn't mean I can't try...)

3. me too!
I love the hula hoop. I could barely move after the first few days after doing it though. My stomach muscles! ouch!

I hate that f'ing step. I just can't do it at all. My five year old can do it and I can't.

4. Oh my!

With time, you'll be able to catch up. (As will we all, )

That's the brill thing about Nintendo's assessment of the industry and innovating on it. The Wii fits the niche audiences of folks like me who want to get fit and don't want to go to a gym or have PTSD or whatever... and the games and apps, while kid-friendly with all the icons and such, don't terribly patronize adults either. It's a terrific family system and Nintendo deserves real kudos. (I know PS3 and Xbox camps loathe the Wii's success, but what's wrong with niche audiences?)

On the Wii, what do you think of the 'Mii' that you can create? On some game reviews, some respondents say that can't use the Mii they made and it annoys them. Others respond to those people saying what the fuss is about. I think, and perhaps I am naive, the Mii adds a sense of ownership, especially for children. Especially for fitness and related games, the Mii does transcend 'cute'.

And have you played Wii Sports at all?

5. The Mii is ok. I thinks it's cute, but my kids
are Mii fanatics. They have a Mii for everyone. All their friends, an Obama Mii, Hillary Mii, McCain Mii with horns, all the cartoon characters, Grandma, Grandpa, on and on I could go.

The Wii fit is great for me. I don't get to the gym with three young kids.

We do have Wii Sports and we like it a lot. My kids are young so they can only play E rated games.
