How long can a cricket live?
Jiminy has been in my guest bedroom for a week now. He chirps about 30 times a minute and it echoes throughout the house. I can't find him but I know he's there. I've tried talking to him and telling him he's better off outside but I get no response. As far as I know, he's had no food. I sent my cat in there this morning but he's still chirping.

Jiminy is driving me mad. How long will I have to endure this?

3. Maybe you could close the door to the room
and leave the window open for a while. And then hope that it finds it's way out and that nothing else comes in. That has happened to me and it drives me crazy. When you get close to them they stop chirping and you can't find them. Good luck.:hi:

4. Hi, NEGirl. I thought of doing that but we have bears up here and
I was afraid I'd get a bigger problem.

7. My Leopard Gecko
allows them to live for about 10 seconds - sometimes, if I put a bunch of crickets in there with Fluffy, one or two will last a week. But just one? He'd be eaten pretty fast.

8. Try mixing some molasses and water in a small wide jar or container.
Leave it open in the room where the cricket is. When it tries to eat it'll drown.
