That whole, "You're awful!" "But I love you and we can work it out, really!" thing.
Even if you don't have first-hand experience... I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. The bad breakups where the dumpee goes from ranting about what's wrong with someone to swearing their love and begging for another chance...

But have you ever heard of that from an employer? I know a lady who resigned from her job recently, and for the first week and a half they were trying to woo her back... but when they realized she wasn't going to stay her boss started leaving messages saying stuff like 'maybe I made a mistake when I hired you'.



Unreal.
