What bands have you seen?
I don't think I've seen that many, but thinking about it, perhaps I have...

Santana (two or three times, once 2nd row)
Talking Heads (twice)
B-52s (twice, once in a very small venue)
Taj Mahal
Eric Clapton
B.B. King
Rolling Stones
Bonnie Raitt
Fabulous Thunderbirds
Little Feat (not with Lowell George, alas)
Journey (ugh)
Andrew Bird
Johnny Winter
Lyle Lovett
Moody Blues (twice, once with a press pass(!))
Ray Charles
The Band

I know there's a few other big names out there, but that's all I can think of at the moment. May post (or re-edit) a follow-up)

The Beach Boys, numerous times, since that's my brother's favorite band
Bruce Springsteen, at my brother's college, terrific show, though I was deaf for a couple of days, LOL
And, as a kid:
Blood Sweat and Tears
Jose Feliciano
Arlo Guthrie and Judy Collins (same amazing show)
Peter, Paul and Mary, on a reunion tour, took my grandmother :-)
Barry Manilow (I know, my friends gave me crap about that one, but he put on a terrific show, also went with my brother.)
The Doobie Brothers
Carl Wilson
America, though that one got rained out...
Livingston Taylor, James' brother, was the pre-show for Springsteen
Also Bonnie Raitt, met her and got her autograph. :D
Men at Work (with nuxvomica)

Oh, and I also saw Taj Mahal, played at my college, also Tom Petty...

Obviously, it's been awhile... ;)

On edit, totally forgot, also saw Herman's Hermits, but Herman wasn't there

there are several videos on youtube of a show in dallas in 1990 when they warmed up for Ministry (the barbed wire fences on the stage tour)where they kick ass. what you said about them going down hill is the consensus.

50. I'll try to remember some of the bigs
Alman Brothers - (2x) absolutely the best live band.
Jefferson Starship - OK
Alice Cooper - fun show
Canned Heat - the first incarnation, with Alan and Bob - great drummer!!
Sun Ra's Cosmic Arkestra - superb in concert
BB King - My band opened for the King about 35 years ago
(He is still playing - I am not)

Albert King - live in SF in the late '70's great performance, got laid after.
Fairport Convention - one of the best live bands
John Mayall - with Mark/Almond - fine sound
Robert Frip - solo for 2 hours and it was great

I'm sure more will come to me later - like 3 AM.
