1. I couldn't even begin to tell you the number of great bands
I have seen at the Fillmore. But none of them were during the age that the places are known for! Clapton, Leftover Salmon, String Cheese Indident, Moe,varous Grateful dead bands, The various Airplane/Starhip bands, Tom petty and the haerbreakers, Janes Addiction with ken kesy adn the Merry Pranksters, Yonder Mountain String band...... I love the place. I hate the palce too. I used to have most of the posters up in the upstairs room and now they are worth a brazillion dollars and I don't have them any more.

The spongy carpet is kind of funny too...

2. Hey...been meaning to ask you
Were you at the Patti Smith show in 2000 (or so) where she did the Jerry tribute thing? I was there visiting SF. Incredible moment for me...and the whole crowd, I think.
