That's right, a 5 year study to show that underage imbibers' alcohol originated with adults. I could have told them that. :eyes:

5. My guesses
Fake ID's (which probably involved an adult) and non-carding stores. The latter was rare when I was growing up, but once in a blue moon in it happened. They mention that 4% steal it from their parents.

We had to use older cousins and the local drunk(s) to procure our booze.

9. Well, I'll play devil's advocate and say that before this study
everyone knew that kids get their alcohol from adults. The difference is that now we know how often this happens and how often it involves abusing alcohol.

I'd like to see a study of attitudes about alcohol, because what one person calls abuse another calls having a good time. For example, one family serves a glass of wine with a meal. Another thinks it normal to get buzzed four nights a week. Are you going to tell the first family it's ok to serve their minors and the second that it's not?

14. As opposed to who, babies? The magic booze fairy?
A mystical river that flows freely with jagermiester and nite train?

A wish granting monkey-paw?

A centaur whose nipples produce milwaukee's best and when you squeeze them just so milwaukee's best comes out?

What the hell.
