For some strange reason my dad feels compelled to watch that show; but whenever he watches it he gets so annoyed at rich people nit picking at houses waaaaaay out of our price range he can't help but yell at the TV.

I just heard a "get the fuck outta here!" coming from the living room, so I flicked on HGTV and low and behold "House Hunters: Million Dollar Home Edition" is on. I think he has a masochistic streak in him

On edit:
He just said "Fuck you Aunt Winnie" I'm dyin' up here!!!!

3. I guess it's some sort of release for him...
I shouldn't talk because I'll watch Super Sweet-16 on MTV or about 30 seconds of the 700 Club on occasion and do the same thing.

I guess the masochism is hereditary :P

"house hunt" was mostly a fraud. When the camera was rolling they were shown a beachfront condo as well as two nearby houses in the Tampa Bay area. Before the cameras actually rolled, however, they had already bought the condo. The other two houses were "shills" to fill up the half hour.

So tell your dad not to get so worked up. "House Hunters" isn't what it seems.
