Anyone watch "Arbian Nights" on ICON last night?

I thought it was a well made movie and quite entertaining. (Of course, it was a bit differant than the orginal story since no other brides were killed the day after.)
Much better than "Alexander" on AMC which I tried to watch the night before but after an hour just got bored.

1. Was that the one that originally aired on CBS some years back?

Because I taped it back then, and tried to watch it. I got tired of it about halfway through. The special effects were good, but they changed the stories too much for my tastes. I do acknowledge the possible Chinese roots to the stories, but I seem to recall that there are similar stories from both lands and some have meshed over the years.

I may eventually go back to it anyway... :)

on BBC America. About a shoe manufacturer and transvestites..... :party:

That was very good. Good adaptation.

That guy loves him some Arbian curly fries.
