Choose a non-politician running mate for Obama
I choose Keith Olberman.

I think a really great non-politician could be a greater asset than nearly any elected official.

4. Patrick Stewart.
He reeks authority. He wouldn't even have to threaten Republicans to get them to fall in line. He could just shoot them a menacing glare and be done with it.

8. George Clooney
That might help to take care of the pseudo-problem Obama has with women.

Myself, I'd prefer Natalie Portman, but she's still too young.

As much as they'd like to be in the position to massage their own daughters' asses.

Edited on Mon Jun-23-08 07:58 PM by KamaAina
who doesn't hold any elective office, but did run for the nomination in '04.

But I'm posting anyway, just to share this little gem I found while Wikiing the General:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wesley_Clark#2004_presidential_campaign

Clark's loyalty to the Democratic Party was questioned by some as soon as he entered the race. Senator Joe Lieberman called Clark's party choice a matter of "political convenience, not conviction."

edit: spelling

As Vice President, she'd be President pro tem of the Senate. I think her experience as a nanny would come in handy when it comes to handling the Senate.

Edited on Mon Jun-23-08 08:06 PM by Bennyboy
We could have the ass kickingest basketball team in the history of the White House!

He has been to Iraq and Afghansitan and spent time there with the people, not just for a photo opportunity.

He has lived in a urban center as a minority so he knows that deal, what is wrong and what is right.

He knows the importance of arts and music being taught in the schools along side math and english.

He knows that education should be priority one.

He wrote the words "We Can bomb the world to pieces but we can't bomb it into peace" and that has to count for something!
