Not really looking for an answer, just want to rant about my middle age acne problem.

2. I'm having the same problem!
Something to do with the 106 degree temps, and the sweat involved therein, I'm guessing.

3. my daughter is having a massive breakout on one side of her face.
it's like the macco car, one side is good the only side is a mess. The clear side is the one she sleeps on which seems even odder. Anyhow i think she's pre menstral but of course she has no idea when her last period was.

I thought since I'm 26, acne wouldn't occur anymore. Boy was I wrong. :eyes:

5. Probably has more to do with sweat than with the heat itself.
I just got an acne outbreak on the tops of my shoulders after the last heat wave that came through here. No coincidence that the top of the shoulders is the only place a sweat-stained shirt will touch you at all times. (provided you spend most of your life right-side-up, that is. :P)

6. sweat and pollution.
When I lived in LA, every frigging summer I'd have problems on my face and back.

You go from hot, sorta humid into dry, a/c air, plus all the soCal pollution, and voila! Zits!

7. Similar problem, but no heat wave.
I think we've broken 80 like 3 times this year...and still, I've got the middle-age acne.

So unfair!

8. With all the hormone problems I've been having I was like a pizza face
it pisses you off to be in your 40s and break out that bad. Depressing too. I started using this all natural soap called black soap. The first week I broke out even more but since then I haven't had a single zit and I swear my pores have also shrunk. Only complaint is that it is rather drying and you do need to make sure to moisturize after use. If you look online you can find free-trade hand made soap for a really reasonable cost (I paid $8 for 1 lb and then cut it up into cubes).

11. Your sweat glands get clogged; thus the breakouts.
What I usually do on days like that is wash my face well periodically during the day to cut down on the breakouts.
