Edited on Fri Jun-20-08 05:54 PM by Bennyboy
WTF? We got some scary times coming up this summer in NORCAL and SOCAL as far as fire is concerned with all these really hot temps so early in the year.....

6. Don't I know it.
Never had A/C in Boston, where the high humidity meant that the nights were really sticky, and not in a good way either.

One of my conditions for living in the Diablo Valley was central A/C. We don't use it much, but on days like today, hell ya it's on.

Under a carport awning.

Dude at the store said the time/temp thing at Union Bank said 110, but there's no shade there.

9. here's what the NOAA forecaster is saying:
Tonight the NAM has lows in the 70s and 80s. I was reluctant
to go this warm but did update the lows with the 18z run to have
lows in the middle to upper 60s to middle to upper 70s.

This will allow temperatures to start off very warm tomorrow.
Based on the near or record overnight lows we will see tonight and highs in the 90s to 105...

Tough call will be at what hour of the day tomorrow the seabreeze cuts in. Many of the coastal high temperatures will be reached before 2 PM

17. I loved SF
Saying that after having been there only a few times back in July 63. Very pleasant during the day and even chilly (like in could use a sweater) in the late afternoon.
We're living in interesting times.
