my in-laws have been better parents to me than my own sometimes...

:)

The day my ex and I decided to divorce, I called her and told her the relationship with her oldest grandchild wouldn't change. And it didn't. I made a lot of trips to meet them halfway so Lelapin could go back and spend a week in the Carolinas. We've all worked very hard to make this situation the best it can be under the circumstances.
