4. It sure was a hot day today...
I went downtown (my downtown!) to shop for dinner, and couldn't park!

Finally found a place about 3 blocks away, and hoofed it...

A little exercise is a wonderful thing when it's hot!

13. it's 94 here as of 7:09pm and it's going to be one of those nights where it doesn't
cool down very much even in the wee hours. I finally turned the ac on today, it's set at 80F right now, hopefully i can leave it there and not have to turn it down to a lower temp.

15. We are having a cool spell... with record "low highs" in the 60s.
Going down to about 49 tonight! (W. PA)

Sorry I can't send you some cool refreshing air. I think this is perfect weather. It could stay like this all summer and I would be happy.

27. Oy vey!
I am in North Irvine, near the foothills. We in North Irvine are always 10 degrees warmer than the temperature reported for Irvine, because they measure the temperature at city hall which is near the back bay of Newport Beach. Definitely not as hot as in the Valley, but I ache for a cool breeze.

29. Oh definitely
That breeze makes such a difference. I remember a few summers ago, it was just like this and I was miserable. I took a trip to Santa Barbara and it was like heaven just because of the breeze. Inland living sucks!
