So, my hubbie works for a small company where he hasn't had a raise in 5 years. He makes pretty good money, but we certainly were doing better a few years ago when the economy didn't suck. Anyway, so, the business he works for is being evicted from it's current building (another story) and my husband is working 60 (sometimes more) hours a week. One of their customers came in and handed him an envelope and said this is for you, and for all the hard work you have done for my business over the years. It was a gift certificate for 100 bucks to our favorite restaurant which we haven't been to in a long time because we just can't afford it.
