and you're one of the people I always wonder how they're doing.

I'm doing fine...got the summer off...trying to decide what I'm gonna do in the fall. Gas is so expensive, my long commute to campus isn't practical any longer...but I'll figure out something.

I have to commute to teach.

So I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I've put in an application at a community college here in town...the pay's actually better than at the university, and the commute is only five miles.

I figure it'll work out...I'll stock shelves at the Piggly Wiggly if I have to. :D

I had a 100 mile round trip commute once - I lived in Canyon Lake and worked in San Antonio in 91-92.

Not a lot of traffic, just time-consuming.
