Her target audience included a huge number of very religious people.

Her voice never really appealed to me enough to buy any of her CDs, but I hope she still has a career. It would be a tragedy if her partying and then having kids killed it. Men routinely get away with far worse.

She's moved on from religious records; she's had moderate success with pop records, and a chat show (aimed at people far younger than me, so it's hard to say if it's any good). As far as being an 'unwed mother' - she's settled with Henson (who is arguably the biggest Welsh sports star), and most people accept that quite happily. She hasn't released any classical records since 2002, according to Wikipedia.

motherhood must agree with her and if she's happy about having another so quickly (and it would seem she certainly can afford them) good for her. My mom had 2 kids at 22, granted she was married, but still, times haven't changed that much.
