Prom Night 1977

an interesting night; some fool wanted to beat me up, my car broke down in the boonies, Laurie got mad at me, we had hot sex.

3. That is great. Love the big bow tie and the ruffles.
The only thing that would have made that suit better is if it were powder blue.

Cute!

10. My prom was three years later, and my tux...
Edited on Wed Jun-11-08 05:30 AM by Kutjara
...was very similar, except in deep green velour. Unfortunately, so was the upholstery in the car I drove to the prom, so I looked spookily like a disembodied head when I pulled up to my date's house to pick her up. Not really the effect I was going for...

5. By today's standards your date's clothes look
Edited on Tue Jun-10-08 11:45 PM by LibDemAlways
incredibly modest and non-revealing. When I drop my daughter off at high school these days tank tops, bra straps, teeny shorts up to the crotch - all standard. Prom dresses all look like those buffs the contestants wear on Survivor and cover about as much. I assume kids still have hot sex. That much probably hasn't changed.

6. Oh, believe me, it's still true

;)

Gotta love modern high school. I can go to each class, and nearly every girl is showing more skin than a chicken on a rotisserie.

On edit: I guess that was a pretty bad analogy.

Laurie was my first real g.f. in high school. i was a late bloomer, didn't get a g.f. or driver license till the middle of my senior year.
