Anyone Here Remeber the Show, "Ten Speed and Brown Shoe"?
How can a show starring Jeff Goldblum and Ben Vereen and was produced by Stephen J. Cannell with the premise:

"A con-man and a accountant-wanna-be private eye team up to fight crime"

fail?

1. Knew it. Loved it.
Started Jeff off on a career as a nerdy. brainy, geeky kind of anti-hero hero. Finished poor Ben off, pretty much.

2. Well, it only ran for 13 episodes, so I guess Frank Zappa was right...
Brown Shoes don't make it.
