If the bold portion means that you have to support every Dem candidate, then pretty much every non-admin who has posted in GDP, including yours truly, should have been booted a long time ago.

A sample of something I said several times in that forum: "If Obama wins the nomination, he gets my money, volunteer time and support. If Hillary wins, she gets nothing more than my vote, and I will be holding a travel sickness bag as I cast it."

Does that qualify as "supporting" Hillary? Your call. Apparently, the mods and admins didn't see that as a violation. Still, both Obama and Hillary had a lot worse than that posted about them (in the case of the latter, a fair amount by yours truly, who will never forgive her for her IWR vote and refusal to admit it was a mistake).

If Deep 13 meant in his OP that he's so disgusted with the outcome that he would vote against Obama, then he's doing the right thing. If he'd still vote for Obama even though it would turn his stomach, then he's in the same boat I'd be in if Hillary got the nomination, but in that case I wouldn't leave - I'd just congratulate Hillary (once, in a very neutral and tersely-stated post), never mention her name again and mostly stay in the Lounge.

As for the "don't let the door hit ya" posts, I have to admit that was my first instinct as well (my thought: if you don't want to post here any more, just stop posting), but at least Deep 13 kept it short and sweet with no indication of the "please, please beg me to stay" that I've seen repeatedly before.

As for "kick to humiliate," that's pretty twisted. I admit I don't see a lot of point in farewell posts, but there sure as hell was no need for THAT.
