Excellent performance, easy to see the influence of performers like Arthur Alexander ("Anna") on Lennon's songwriting and performing styles.

2. Watching that is so bittersweet
Those harmonies will live with me forever-but lately I've become so depressed thinking how long ago that was and I can't even enjoy listening to the Fabs anymore. Thanks anyway, for a sweet memory.

I appreciate this one a ton, as I do most of your music posts. So easy to forget the vocal harmony origins of the band sometimes. I love this period of Lennon's voice, the way it breaks in this and in Anna--"What am I supposed to do?"
