Do you buy 2 for 1 specials at the market, rather than your favorite brand, because it's 2 for 1?

Example: I needed olive oil today. My favorite brand is Lucini, but Safeway had a "2 for 1" special on Bertolli ($15.49 for two 25.5 OZ. bottles of extra virgin olive oil instead of $15.49 each).

I wanted the Lucini, but couldn't pass up the Bertolli...so I went with a brand I know, like, and trust, but one that wasn't my first choice.
