I'm Intrigued By The Wii Fit
Anyone have it or know of someone who does?

Your thoughts, please :)

1. I just tried it last weekend!

My future sis-in-law has it. I thought it was fun! I did the general balance/fitness test thingy, and then did hula-hooping and skiing. My fiance tried the one where you head a soccer ball and totally failed.

We didn't try the strength training, but fiance's sis said it totally kicked her butt!

:hi:

2. My mom has it.
I tried it and meh. I didn't care for it.

I like the Mario Kart for the Wii. Now that is fun. :)

I doubt it'll be Legend of Zelda or Resident Evil
Which are my two favorite games for the Wii. But it still might be an interesting way of breaking up the monotony of working out.

4. I just saw it work this past weekend. My sister and her hubby got one
she's a stay at home mom with two little ones under 4yrs, so she doesn't have a lot of time to go exercise anywhere.

I could definitely see it's advantages. It's got a lot of fun features.

The way it can help track your BMI and weight is interesting, too.

5. We have it! It's fun! It's not going to be a full on work-out like you might get at a gym
but it certainly is a nice supplement, and fun to boot!

One disappointment is the warrior pose of the yoga section. They instruct you to do something that any yoga teacher will tell you never to do. Namely, you shouldn't let your front knee bend further than your ankle. Your back leg should be further back if that happens. You can injure your knee that way. The virtual "trainer" is actually shown with her knee bent well past her ankle.

7. Not sure. My husband bought it.
I doubt he would've paid a huge mark-up for it though.
