I will NEVER forgive Bush Co for sending thousands of soldiers to Iraq for an unjust reason. I am watching the Medal of Honor Ceremony. Chimp's fake tears are no justification for the sacrifice or the pain these families have been going through.

1. Yeah, failing to hold people accountable is irresponsible.
As a non-Christian, I have no reason to forgive horrible crimes (even if I were in a position to do so) or to pretend I love everyone.

3. Accountability and forgiveness are two different deals.
Again, I am not saying anyone should ever have to forgive anyone else. Forgiveness is more about one's own healing.

5. Well maybe I don't understand the difference.
My understanding has always been that forgiving someone is declining to make that person "pay" (either in compensation or punishment) for an offense.

7. Well, for instance if someone murdered my mom and I forgave them, they
would still have to rot in that jail cell. I am not saying I am the queen of forgiveness either.

2. Forgiveness is more for yourself though. Not for Bush's benefit.
I am not saying you should forgive him though.

6. Oh me too! I didn't say you should fiorgive him. I am just
telling you what I think forgiveness is about. It is more about you! That is just my thoughts on forgiveness. Not on Bush.
