This is, I know, a stupid question. But why do I keep getting a little red X box when I post

pictures? The picture posts, but beside it is a little box with an X. What am I doing wrong?

6. Ooooh, I know what you're talking about. I just get the red x thingy when I goof the link...

but I've seen DUer's post pics with the red x *next* to a perfectly fine pic, Oy! x( But I don't know how to fix it :dunce:

3. Try posting a photo from a different site.

Something from Wikipedia, perhaps. Have you tried that already?

I don't know how to use others. But I will see if I can figure that out.

5. Find the pic you want

Right click.
Select "Properties"

Highlight the location

Right click again and select "copy," or just use control+c

Alternately: depending on your browser, you may have the option to "copy image location"

Come back to DU

Where you want to post, paste using either right click or control+v
